Services at All Saints’
Every Sunday morning we meet at 10:00 am to worship God and receive Him in the Eucharist. There is also a Low Mass every Wednesday at 9:30 am.
At All Saints’ Church we have always worshipped in the catholic tradition of the Church of England, and within this tradition we are adaptable and welcome creativity. We know that this is valued by the congregation and by people who might want to join our church, making it part of our mission. We seek to nurture our faith through engagement with scripture and the sacrament. We aim for a style of worship which is familiar to many, while adapting to changing needs, and which is welcoming and uplifting.
Nurture and engagement with children and young people is extremely important to us. We have a growing Sunday School during term-time and we have strong links with the neighbouring All Saints’ Church of England Primary School.
The cycle of the seasons of the church has always been very important to us at All Saints’. The Christingle service and the Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols on Christmas Eve are some of the best attended of the whole year. We aim to provide a range of Holy Week and Easter observances; one which is particularly valued is the all-night Vigil following the Maundy Thursday Service.
Other expressions of worship take place in the week, with a reflective weekday mass on Wednesday morning and regular online services of Morning and Evening Prayer.
