Friends of All Saints’ Together
Friends of All Saints’ Together (or FAST - who doesn’t love an acronym?) is a new way to keep everyone in touch with All Saints’ Church and Halls.
It’s for anyone who’s got an interest in or connection to All Saints’, or just wants to be kept up-to-date with what’s going on.
Hopefully you’ll want to be part of our community as well!
Membership is free, and we know that times are tough, but we’d really appreciate it if you’d make a one-off donation when you join please. It’s up to you whether that’s a one-off or a regular payment.
What Do We Do?
We’re aiming for a pretty broad range of things in which we’ll get involved. The one common factor will be that we’re helping All Saints’ Church to keep going and carry on being the community focus and resource that it’s been for nearly 150 years.
With the church itself, the halls and the grounds to look after there’s a lot to do to maintain All Saints’. If you’re able to help with cleaning, mowing, plumbing or roofing, among other things, we’d love to hear from you.
Money will have to be a big part of what we do, but that doesn’t mean that it’s got to come out of your pocket; any ideas for fundraising events and places to apply for grants will be gratefully received, especially if you can help.
We’re also aiming to strengthen our links with other community groups. For example, residents’ associations, local history societies, charities and other places of worship are all people that we’d like to join up with.
